Julie is a photographer from Texas living in Los Angeles. She grew up playing in bands, and as she toured around playing music she also started taking photos of musicians on the road. This has turned into a lifelong love. She loves shooting film, and since music is a big part of her life, it tends to be a central subject in many images. Julie shoots in a relaxed, low frills way, bringing out the fun and natural energy in people. Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Spin, Darling, Foxes, The Washington Post, and has become the artwork for various recording artists such as Noel Gallagher, Gracie Abrams, Jacob Banks, Shrinebuilder, Pink Mountaintops, and Spindrift.
